Use |
1. Mainly used as an antidote to folic acid antagonists (e.g. methotrexate, acetaminophen or methotrexate). 2. Used to prevent severe toxic effects caused by methotrexate overdose or after high-dose therapy. 3. Megaloblastic anemia caused by folic acid deficiency. 4. Used in combination with fluorouracil for the treatment of advanced colon and rectal cancer. |
